"Bleaugh," Dean grunts, balling up a bit of tin foil in his hands and uncharacteristically tossing it into the back seat before gnawing through the food still sloshing around in his mouth to deliver the following: "You know, one day I'd love to just sit down and eat something I didn't have to microwave at a minimart." Sam has more important things to discuss, namely the motive behind Dead Doctor Doc's mind-control murder. The boys then get into another heated argument regarding Andy's apparent guilt that I'll be skipping entirely to reach the point where Andy himself pops into the passenger-side window to yell, "Hey! You think I haven't seen you two? Why are you following me?" His voice gets that echoey undertone on that last question, and Dean shoots up straight in his seat, as if against his own will. "Well, we're lawyers," Sam LIES, sticking to their cover story. "Tell the truth!" Andy echoily interrupts. Sam gets a bright, false smile on his face to continue with the LYING, but Dean unexpectedly blurts out from behind him, "We hunt demons." Sam whips his head around to goggle at his brother as Andy snaps a disbelieving, "What?" "Demons," Dean confirms, "spirits, things your worst nightmares wouldn't even touch." "Sam, here -- he's my brother," Dean continues before Sam all but smacks him upside the head to peeve, "Dean! Shut UP!" "I'm trying," Dean grits in an aside before cheerily babbling onwards. Heh. "He's psychic, kinda like you, well not really like you because, see, he thinks you're a murderer? And he's afraid he's gonna become one himself? Because you're all part of something that's terrible! And I hope to hell that he's wrong, but I'm starting to get a little scared that he might be right!" Dean finishes this off with an even brighter smile than the one with which he delivered it. Snort. "Okay, you know what?" Andy aggravates. "Just leave me alone." Dean's all with the chipper, "Yes, sir!" before collapsing to wheeze against his palm the instant Andy's stormed away. Hee.
