As the actual Speedwagon fades out on the soundtrack, it's replaced by Dean's serviceable-enough straight-boy-on-karaoke-night singing voice as we cross-fade to Metallicar's interior, where The Deano's crooning, "You're a candle in a window on a cold, dark winter's night, and I'm getting closer than I ever thought I mi-ight!" "You're kidding, right?" Sam amusingly interrupts, just as Dean's really getting into it and about to go all hair-band power-ballad chorus on our collective ass. Hee. Dean awkwardly changes the subject to ask Sam what he's got on mommy immolations in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Seems one Andrew Gallagher, born on June 30, 1983, lost his mother in a nursery fire exactly six months later, just like Sam. Unfortunately, they'll be having a difficult time pinpointing Andy's current location, as he lacks both current address and current employment. Also, while he owes large sums of money on a variety of utility and credit-card bills, none of those long-past-due accounts have been flagged by credit agencies. "They just let him take a walk?" Dean hoots. "Seems like it," Sam shrugs. Ash was able to procure Andy's last W-2 from about a year ago, so Our Intrepid Heroes decide to check out his former place of employment...
