Sally talks to the C-List, and tells them, basically, "If two of the three of you will vote for us, then it will be a tie, and we will play the idol, and then..." And this is kind of where the presentation falls apart. Because she doesn't really know what she's offering, because she's not offering anything. She's kind of offering F4, but she's offering it to three people, so it's...weird. Sally says that she's telling everyone that the idol will be played at this tribal council, even though she doesn't know whether Terry will actually do it, in which case she knows she'll go home. "It's most advantageous for us to break up this strong six as soon as possible," she says, understating her case considerably. Yes, it's true -- when you're at a 6-2 disadvantage, that's when you need to get serious about putting your plan into effect sooner rather than later.

For his part, Terry is playing some kind of highly weird mind game with Courtney, in which they are out getting water, and Courtney is asking whether he's saying he's going to give the idol to Sally. He clarifies that it's nothing like that -- he's not even saying he has it. Which...what's the point of that? Why not just tell her you have it, at this point? What's the advantage of making her think you might not have it? It's like, play the card or don't, you know? He either needs to try to get people to vote for him, or try to get people not to vote for him. There's no point in being like, "I might have it. But I might not have it." At least that's the way it seems to me. Terry tells Courtney that his proposal is now apparently himself and Sally and her and Bruce. Terry tells Courtney that, with four votes, they'd get rid of Aras by playing the idol. He tells Courtney that this would mean "guaranteed final four." See, this is beginning to be a real plan, but if it is, then he needs to tell her for sure that he has the idol, and there's no reason to fuck around. Courtney interviews that she'd like to align with Terry and go up against him at F2, but again, the disorganization of Casaya works against Terry, because she doesn't seem ready to jump yet. Courtney also tells us that Terry is harder to beat in challenges, but that Aras would be harder to beat in F2, which is an interesting perspective. I have a feeling that there's more animosity toward Terry than we've really seen. Courtney says that there's not a clear answer for her at this point.
