Before they begin the first round, Abi takes a seat to wait for the finals and everyone else has to answer a multiple choice question. Lisa and Denise get weights. Keep in mind that five people make it through which means that only one person will be eliminated. Penner is really terrible at this challenge. Maybe he should think of it like a puzzle. Denise whips through it with no problems, even though they're making them carry the extra weight in a purse-like bag that is constantly in danger of falling off. I know they didn't want to make the challenge easier, but it would have made more sense to put the extra weight in a backpack or weight belt or something less floppy. Anyway, Carter finishes next, and then Skupin, Malcolm and Penner finish, so Lisa is the one eliminated.
Denise, Skupin and Carter have to add weight, so that puts Denise at 10% of her body weight, with the two guys at five. They start the second round, which looks like a briar patch. Penner somehow figures out how this game is played and makes it out first and he's joined by Carter. Denise just barely missed out; I think she just got tired.
Abi joins Carter and Penner for the final round. Those already eliminated sit on a bench nearby and mutter about how Abi can't win this and how her knee will probably be miraculously healed. Although they didn't show it, Probst asked a question to all three of them (some viewers thought Abi also was exempted from answering a question) and only Carter got it wrong, so he's now carrying ten percent of his body weight. That's not good for the six-person alliance because Carter was their best shot at beating Abi. Anyway, unlike the previous two stages, this stage involves untying knots to open up space to progress through a three-level tower. Abi is pretty good at untying knots, guys. Her knee also seems fine. Carter makes a run at her, but Abi leads the whole way and wins immunity. Sad trombone. Probst tells her she's gone from the top to the bottom to outcast to safe. Abi is really happy for herself. So glad she's going to make it another week, not. Bleh.
After the challenge, Malcolm interviews that he had to act upset that Abi won but really he doesn't mind, because now he has a chance to get out Penner whom he considers a real threat. The final four alliance meets in the jungle and confirms that they're planning to vote out Penner. Lisa gives yet another, "I'm just not cut out for this game" speeches... like, we get it, Blair. Move on to your next brilliant idea. Lisa interviews that she likes Malcolm and Denise, but she has "a heart connection" with Carter and Penner. Carter? That guy? Have we ever seen Lisa even talk to Carter? Anyway, Skupin tries to convince Lisa that she's doing the right thing because she made a pact.
