The S6 toe the starting line as Peachy commands them, "Give it all you got for a visit from a loved one!" Matthew gives it all he's got in the form of a big, headfirst digger right off the starting line. He recovers well enough to follow Rob and Jenna in unearthing paddles, while Christy turns up the last one. Butch tries to be positive about the loss, while HeiDDi immediately starts whining and crying. Matthew must really want to win this reward, as he takes another spill trying to get into his canoe. Jenna sits at the back end of the boat on shore while the front end is barely in the water. She then attempts to scoot the boat into the water by wiggling her butt around. Not surprisingly, Jenna's unsuccessful. Peachy narrates as Jenna abandons the boat to swim instead; Rob overturns his boat and returns to shore; and Christy is also "swimming," although mostly she's just floating along on her back. But now, Matthew had a considerable lead, and has chosen "pit viper" as his answer. He heads toward shore while Jenna and Christy continue to flounder. Maybe "flounder" isn't the right word in this case, since presumably flounders can swim. At least Christy has realized by now that the backstroke isn't getting her anywhere, and has flipped to the speedier dog-paddle. Jenna selects her puzzle pieces, closely followed by Christy. Peachy credits Matthew's lead to his "command of the boat," and we see Rob collecting his bag of puzzle pieces just as Matthew reaches the shore, discovers he answered correctly, and begins puzzling. Rob -- having finally mastered his canoe -- zips past the drowning Jenna and Christy and beats them to the shore while Butch and HeiDDi clutch at each other. Peachy announces that Matthew is only halfway through the puzzle and "Rob's sneakin' up on [his] tail." Matthew so wishes. At this point, Rob realizes that there must be something to the whole falling bit, and so he takes a digger, too. I'll attest to the fact that running on sand is no fun. I always feel like I'm in a Huey Lewis video. Rob has the camo puzzle pieces as well, so Christy and Jenna are both eliminated. Puzzling ensues, and Matthew is the first to complete his snake. He and Rob hug, while teary Jenna and HeiDDi claim to be happy for him, as if they're such big people for not being totally pissed off that he won. Matthew earnestly apologizes to the "ladies" in response.
