Credits. Oh, Aaron. How muddy you were.

Fei Long, Day 17. J-R is snoring noisily, which has become the scene-setting "once upon a time..." of this tribe. Courtney desperately throws a cloth over her face trying to get away from him. Elsewhere, Todd is having a chat with Amanda, because he's got something to tell her. He wants her to know that there's an immunity idol in camp, which he knows because he's been receiving clues -- most recently from Dave. He says he meant to tell her after he'd already found the idol, but he must admit that he hasn't found it yet. Amanda interviews that she thought this was great news. Well...sure. Todd vows that if Fei Long wins the reward challenge, they're re-napping whichever guy from their old tribe is still there over at Zhan Hu in order to get control of the clue.

And now, very quickly, we're at the reward challenge. (Things are moving at quite a clip, you'll notice.) Jeff brings in the tribes. He explains that in this challenge, a pair of people at a time, one from each tribe, will run through an "abandoned 'Chinese "village"'" looking for planks in their team's color. Once they've retrieved all eight of their planks, they'll assemble them on a big board so that the letters spell out a saying. And what are they playing for? A trip to a nearby island for bathing, tea and snacks, and -- and this is emphasized with an unseemly sort of joy by Jeff Probst -- the opportunity to use a toilet and extra-strength toilet paper. I mean, I get that if you get there, and you drink the tea, maybe that will promote…something, but I still don't need quite that much detail about how the quadra-ply Charmin will be so useful for blah blah blah DON'T TALK ABOUT POO, SHOW. Also, of course, the winning tribe will get to kidnap someone. Inexplicably, Fei Long decides to sit out Denise, Amanda, and Courtney in the reward challenge, meaning that they will not be able to sit out the immunity challenge. Dummies.

And...go! Pairs run into the "village" to get their planks. The only thing that's really noteworthy here is that at one point, Peih-Gee and Sherea wind up in a building at the same time, and Peih-Gee mutters that the old Zhan Hu is still with Sherea and Frosti, and Sherea should remember that. Sherea doesn't respond much to this at all, which has to be unsettling for Peih-Gee. When we reach the puzzle stage, Fei Long is slightly behind, but they catch up quickly, because it turns out that Zhan Hu is almost as bad at challenges when they're not trying to lose as when they are trying to lose. So as it happens, Fei Long wins this challenge fair and square, or so it appears. The winning phrase, incidentally, is "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." I'm surprised to see it doesn't end "...and a can of Pringles." Unsurprisingly, Fei Long instantly announces that they want to kidnap James, who comes over and hugs Denise first. James receives his sealed clue roll from Jeff. Fei Long grabs their giant basket of toilet paper and whatnot and heads for the boat that will take them to the tea house. I hope they don't confuse the clue tube with the toilet paper tube.
