Amy shows the tribe her ankle, and...like many other things in this episode, that just does not look good. That is one big, round ankle. Amy waves it off, insisting that it will be fine. She interviews that she can live with it: "I'm not going to give up." Needles! You can stick needles in her eyes! You can tell that she's not as concerned about the ankle as she is about making sure the team knows she can deal, because she knows what happened when Jim's arm fell off. Gary and Steph have a chat in which Steph talks disbelievingly about how Brianna and Lydia didn't do the pick after she explained it. Oh, come on! That thirty-second explanation of a pick? Not exactly a clinic, there, KrzyzStephski. "Come up...[pant pant]...like this...[pant pant]...and then take the girl over here ." That's not going to make anyone into a strategic defender all of a sudden. Gary interviews that Lydia and Brianna have "never played a sport in their life," and says that it's a disadvantage to the team. Which I suppose is slightly true today, in a way that it is almost never true normally. And then, of course, there's Amy and her ankle.
