Now, Chiclets and Austin have a chat lying in the shelter, while Terry hovers. Austin starts off by telling her what they learned about how she's at the bottom of her alliance and telling her that this is why she was picked for the trip to Exile Island. "So here's the thing," Austin says. "Terry's got the idol, and he's willing to give it to you." Terry taps Chiclets on the shoulder, and she turns to look. He produces the edge of the idol from under a blanket. That was kind of awesome. He tells her that, at the Naval Academy, "nobody lies, cheats, or steals." HA HA! Yeah. I'm sure. He promises her that if she flips to his side, she will get the idol. Chiclets interviews that this was quite the development right after she got back from Exile Island. She says that this is indeed a very "tempting" offer.
Aras calls the Casayans together and tells them that "Sally goes, period." "I do not agree," Courtney says.
Over where Terry and La Mina are chatting, Austin says to Terry that Terry should give the idol to either him or Sally if it doesn't look like they're going to swing the vote in their favor. For his part, Aras says that "Casaya is divided on the vote." He says he's "crossing [his] fingers" that he doesn't "get a whammy." Oh, poor Peter Tomarken. Everything reminds me of you. Okay, only when people say "whammy," but still.
Tribal council. Jeff welcomes the group. He first confronts Aras about working with Chiclets on the reward challenge, telling her what to do. Aras tries to spin this as good for everyone in some ways, but he smirks the whole time. "Actually, it was really a good plan for Aras," Cirie points out, "because we helped him stop the men, and we helped him win." She grins at Aras, who gives her an insufferable "you bad girl" sort of look that is totally, completely creepy. I like to think Cirie rolled her eyes good and hard at that one. Aras talks about how he could easily be sent home if the idol is played.
Now, Jeff touches on Chiclets and Austin's trip to hell. He asks Austin about the two days they spent, and whether it "builds character." Austin says that even if he were to win the million dollars, the first thing he will always remember about being on Survivor is the time spent on Exile Island in the rain. Yeah, I think I get that. Chiclets nods in rueful agreement. Jeff asks Chiclets about bonding that might have occurred in the time they were out there. She says they did bond, "absolutely." She says that Austin and she know each other much better than they used to. She's proud that they held up together.
