Rob: Yes, indeed. And what a fun time we had at TARcon!
Miss Alli: Lots of yelling.
Brennan: Yeah, from what you could hear, right, in the bar?
Miss Alli: Oh, my gosh, I couldn't tell at all. I really did not see any of that episode at the time. I mean, I saw, like I said in the recap, I saw little pieces of things, I saw you throwing the batteries on the ground, which I had no idea what that was, I was like, "What the heck? What are they doing?" And then people were talking about, when you had the cell phone, people were saying, "Oh, they're going to get in trouble for that, can't do that, cell phone, it's illegal..." And I was like, "What? What? What?"
Rob: That's funny that people picked up on that so much.
Brennan: The only thing you couldn't do was call people you know...we probably used a cell phone four or five times throughout the whole race. But they only showed it that once. That was kind of our M.O. with when we'd get on trains and stuff, we'd find people whose cell phone we could borrow, and then call ahead for a cab.
Rob: Yeah, we were always trying to talk to people during the course of the race. That was a huge benefit to us.
Brennan: And the reason that was -- that got us started, was that I was talking to these two English guys on the train to Les Baux, and they said it to me. They go, "You know, if you need to use our cell phone for anything, you know, feel free. Work's paying for it." [laughs] And so I took them up on that, and from then on, we thought, "Hey, this is a good idea," and we ended up doing it a few more times.
Miss Alli: So when you actually got to watch the episodes, were there things that surprised you, in terms of, they either looked different from the way that you remembered them, or they surprised you from times that you weren't around? In other words, things where you said, "Hey!"
Rob: I think one of the things we didn't know was the extent to which Frank and Margarita kind of bagged on us at times. That was surprising.
Brennan: That's the first thing that comes to my mind, too. We were watching...I think it was Episode 3. It was. It was the whole getting-off-the-train incident, where we got off and we told Frank and Margarita where to get off, and they're like, "We know," and all that, and Frank's in there saying how, "I'm real, and they're just saying stuff behind your back." And Rob and I looked at each other, and we're like, "What is he talking about?" We honestly had no idea what he was talking about. I think that one surprised us the most. That one, and then the next episode, with the whole cab incident, the same thing, and then he's like, "Are they lawyers, or liars?" And I, actually -- for that reason, that is my least favorite episode. That one kind of hurt me a little bit, because I didn't know what he was talking about. And a lot of people believed him.
