Kris and Jon get going, and she starts out to bluff her way through the name of the falls, and then gives up and starts laughing. Gus and Hera leave in 10th place, and Avi and Joe in 11th. Avi explains that he and Joe have "complementary skills," because he is logical, and Joe is creative. Avi does make me laugh when he starts singing, for no apparent reason, "New York Jeeeews in Iceland...New York Jeeeews in Iceland." It's like a free cabaret show. Hey, I never said I wasn't a cheap date.

Kendra, in her red do-rag, tells Freddy that there isn't actually any indication of the waterfalls themselves on the map, and elsewhere, Kristy is likewise beginning to wonder about the absolute lack of...well, anything. Lena insists that it's all fine: "There's no way we can screw up on this; we'd have to be total idiots." Oh, that's not a good thing to do. Don and MJ pull over to the bump-bump-bumping Love Theme From Drunken Icelanders, and they ask which way to the waterfall, and their locals try to offer some directions. But when they're done, Don says, "I think they're all ripped." HA! He and MJ marvel at the apparent intoxication among the citizenry as they drive around. That's awesome. Maybe it's a college town.

Meredith and Maria aren't even sure they have the right highway yet. Elsewhere, Spazpants is in turmoil as Jonathan screeches at Victoria about how "there's no teeeeam here!" Gee, I wonder why. Maybe he hasn't yelled "WOOO!" enough. "Shut up, Jon, I can't take your whining!" Victoria...well, whines. "My whining?" he asks incredulously. "It is your incompetency at this point." She tries to explain something or other to him, and all of a sudden, he explodes: "I don't know! I'm not reading the map!" Wow. I think his ox is already broken, figuratively speaking, and it's really early in the season.

Lori and Bolo fear that they may be lost as well, and they stop to ask a poor guy who's just trying to do some fishing. And I don't think this is what he was trying to catch. Gus and Hera pass them, and Lori urges Bolo to get moving. Gus isn't happy with Hera for giving a little honk as she passed, which...doesn't strike me as all that bad, and certainly not enough for her dad to tell her on television that she's "being too much of an ass." Avi and Joe pass Bolo and Lori as well, giving a hearty, "SEE-YA!", which makes me wonder whether they're Duke basketball fans. (I would explain that reference for non-ACC fans, but this recap is already so long.)
