And now, the frustrated Nuance/Mormon brigade, so recently in the lead, pulls into the waterfall poorly positioned. In seventh and eighth place, they grab their clues and run for it.
And then -- hey, look who's fallen to ninth freaking place! It's Spazpants! Hee hee hoo hoo hoo! They run in, as Kris and Jon head for the glacier, closely followed by Hornio. In the Nuance car, Kendra is complaining -- as Hayden did -- about her partner's tendency to run out ahead of her. "All right," he says, actually acting like he might have heard her. We'll see. Spazpants is close behind. "I feel like we've lost this game by not being a team," Jonathan loudly complains. Showing that she can give as well as receive the crazy, Victoria shrieks, "Okay, let's...FOCUS!" I just want to hug them both, I really do. They are a-dor-able.
Don and MJ are still seeking the falls. Not sure quite how they got so far behind, but at least he notes that the fog is lifting. Hopefully, that is merely a literal reference and not a hint that he fades in and out of coherence.
Hayden complains to Aaron about other teams "on [her] ass." He tells her she can't stop them from doing that, so she needs to just drive and not worry about it. Behind them, Lori and Bolo pass Gus and Hera, as do Kris and Jon, who have suddenly shown up. Gus comments that he thinks the crazy driving is already getting out of hand. Holy cow, there go Lena and Kristy, too, so Nuance is probably around, too. Basically, everybody is passing Gus and Hera because they're driving so damn slow. The real problem appears to be a car ahead of them, whom Hera wants to pass, but Gus puts his foot down and tells her not to. "They're going to kill themselves; we're not going to," Gus says of the other teams. And, recognizing that Sean Connery really is still cooler than Harrison Ford, she relents. It appears that Gus and Hera even fall far back from Hayden and Aaron, who perhaps finally took off as well after being passed by three teams.
Don and MJ find the falls. Yay! They find their way to the clue after deciding to walk rather than run, for risk of spraining their ankles. Yeah, injuries are a bad idea.
