Miss Alli: Sure. And I understand that.
Bill: It's kind of making a new issue, or topic, and I don't want to belabor it, but that's what was going on in my mind. I mean, it's definitely over, it was six months ago -- or, nine months ago.
Miss Alli: Sure. Did you ever -- when you made the decision to not be particularly straightforward with Karyn when she asked you about it --
Bill: I lied.
Miss Alli: Yes. You did. You lied. What was the reason for that?
Bill: I guess I was trying to just, like, still keep an ally in the race, and not have anybody else try and throw a roadblock in front of us. I thought, I'd just lie and say it was very innocent, and we didn't need any more enemies. We knew we had already made enemies of all those other people, 'cause they wouldn't speak to us.
Joe: At that point in time, the big accusation had got blown into "they pushed Nancy, they pushed Nancy."
Miss Alli: It certainly did.
Joe: And in reality, nobody pushed Nancy.
Bill: We bumped into her.
Joe: But we didn't push her -- we were ahead of her.
Miss Alli: So how does that go from -- if you're talking about, people are standing in line, and the Air France people are leading them up, and presumably the Air France people are going to help them get where they need to be, how come it turns into pushing and shoving?
Bill: Well, I'll tell you, there wasn't really a lot of pushing and shoving. More than anything, there was a lot of very loud screaming, and I'll say that it was Drew and Kevin.
Joe: It was. They started yelling at us, "Get out of the way! Get out of the way!" You can see them on the tape going, "We have a plane to catch! Please let us through, we have a plane to catch! We have to catch a plane right away, we have a plane to catch!" Well, that's perfectly fine if you want to be the polite gentleman and step aside while they rush through because their plane is late or whatever, they're late for their plane, fine, but we weren't going to do that.
