Commercials. Wow, that Degree commercial takes a long time to get through the thing about the mama's boy to get to the deodorant. I almost missed what it was a commercial for, because it kind of seemed like it should be therapy.
When we come back, it sounds like Gretchen and Meredith are trying to get their fish for 1000 pesos, or something. "We don't have any mooooney," she's keening. "No wonder they did library books; it doesn't cooost you anything," she moans loudly. At some point, probably in order to get her to be quiet, the guy tells her that yes, she can have the fish. She orders him to wrap it up, and I sort of envision him going, "YOU wrap it up, sister," even though I'm not sure what that would mean, but he doesn't say it, or he doesn't say it out loud. Finally, they manage to get away from the fish counter. They head out, aiming for their next destination.
Back at the funicular (oy!), it's Brian and Greg, just arriving. And then right behind them are Megan and Heidi, but the girls don't get the same funicular the boys do. At the top, the guys get the clue and decide to do the books, and then they head back down, passing the girls on the way up. When Megan and Heidi find no more clues in the green box but theirs, they realize they're in last place. They choose to do the shopping Detour.
Speaking of Detours, Ron and Kelly load up the 68 books in their second load and leave for the Library of Congress again. Debbie and Bianca, meanwhile, arrive at the store and start loading up the cart. They quickly conclude that its going to take two trips, so they get going with as much as they can.
Lynn and Alex get to the restaurant to grab the recipe. Patrick and Susan are close behind, but it takes them a little time to find where they're going, so Uchenna and Joyce are the next to get the recipe in the meantime. When Lynn and Alex get their fish, again, it looks like it's dead-on three kilos, if not very slightly under. Again, if I were doing this task, I would try to get one that was a couple of smidges over, because obviously, being under is such a major problem that you kind of have to make sure it doesn't happen to you. They pay for the fish and leave. When Uchenna and Joyce get there, they get themselves a fish that looks like a solid three and a half, after asking for one that was a minimum of three kilos. They get going after the next ingredient as Susan and Patrick are seen finally getting to the chef and leaving in search of their fish.
