Rob and Kelley come roaring into the mat -- well, it's Rob doing the actual roaring -- and Rob bugs his eyes out at Phil until he tells them they're team number seven, which makes them pretty happy. Even though this means they U-Turned another team for nothing.

The blondes yell at their rickshaw driver to turn around, without much success, and end up switching drivers in the middle of the street. Gary & Will have somehow already reached the U-Turn sign before them and the substitutes see that they've been U-Turned. Only they don't know by whom, because as previously mentioned, this is a blind one. They stand there in front of the sign, having a leisurely chat about who is still behind them. As their debate proceeds, splitscreen windows show Rob doing a victory lap around the mat and Brittany and Caitlin stressing out in their new rickshaw. There should also be one showing the sun progressing across the sky, as long as this discussion is taking. Eventually they start sort of leaning toward U-Turning Rob & Kelley, a move whose only redeeming quality would be its symmetry. Gary tells Will to pick already, but Will is rudely cut off by the ads while he's reaching for the screen. Suspense!

And then we come back to see them U-Turning Rob & Kelley right back, which does them absolutely no good whatsoever. And once again, we see the latter team already at the mat just to drive that point home. They interview that they were frustrated to be U-Turned, not being a strong team and all (which is why you were in a position to be U-Turned by the seventh-place team, geniuses), but then decided to U-Turn somebody else, "Just on the chance that you go out fightin'." And we know from last week they have no intention of going out runnin'. But first they have to get back on their ride and head to the egg store. "It's not looking good for the good guys," Gary says. Don't worry about the good guys, worry about yourselves.

The blondes continue to stress at their driver. Could this actually be a race for last after all? The substitute teachers have their eggs as we see them interview about how they don't give up... at least not this leg. "Will and Gary are our only hope," one of the blondes says. They get dropped off, but instead of Parliman POS, they're back at the park of all places, where Gary and Will have just showed up to do their second half of the Detour. The blondes are wandering around in the background looking for the U-Turn mat, while Gary and Will are completely oblivious to their presence. You know, what with burning coconuts on their heads and all. Finally the blondes decide to leave again, while the teachers eat their eggs, Will mugging for the camera at the spicy hot sauce. So now the teachers are not only less far behind, they have an advantage over the blondes in that they know where to go from here. They agree that they should have done this in the first place as they run back to their becak. At least that way they would have had more energy for the lion parade.
