Back at the quarry, Cheyne has apparently decided to do the sandbag filling and hauling all by himself, which is so demanding that he has no time to listen to Meghan asking for help with increasing desperation. The brothers, meanwhile, have finished constructing their bunker. They have to wire up the detonator themselves, although with close guidance from the judge, who then blows three short sharp blasts on an air horn and tells Dan to press the plunger, just like Wile E. Coyote. He does, and there is of course a loud bang, after which dirt keeps raining back down for a surprisingly long time. Unlike with Wile E. Coyote, however, the explosion is some distance away. "I felt that!" Sam says happily, as they run to the blast site with their guide, find their box, and open up the clue. Which tells them to go to Bögs Gård Farm. Hmm, is it me, or does that name sound familiar? "This is the site of one of the most infamous and daunting challenges in Amazing Race history," Phil says over footage of production assistants unrolling hay bales, "And where teams must search for their next clue." Sam and Dan are on their way. Meanwhile the Globetrotters finish their bunker and blow some shit up. Meghan keeps trying to hurry Cheyne along as they get their clue, and even tries to throw some dirt into a bag that he's already carrying away. Most of it misses, obviously. And their bunker is a layer short and about to topple. After we see the Globetrotters leave, Meghan and Cheyne finally set off their explosion and take off unhappily. Meghan post-mortems in the car, "I thought that was awful teamwork. I'm kind of frustrated right now. I asked Cheyne like five thousand times to work with me." Cheyne says it's in the past and they need to move on. Because that's how it works. Is this a sign of compatibility?
Meanwhile, Brian|Ericka and Gary|Matt are having diametrically opposed experiences from one another, with the former team making great time to the quarry and the latter apparently still in the same roundabout. Look, guys, Big Ben! Parliament!
Finally, after the ads, they stop for directions, and at least get out of town. Gary s hoping to make up time on the Detour. Which Brian and Ericka have already reached, although Ericka seems unhappy about what the sandbag-filling is doing to her manicure. Although in the post-leg interview, she claims, "If I'm dirty and I'm stinky, I don't care. I just want to win."
