The supposedly earlier flight lands at Narita Airport at 7:20 AM, 65 minutes after the "Second" flight instead of 15 minutes before. So much for that lead. Of course, the team who got screwed worse than anyone is Zev and Justin, who don't even have a favor owed to them any more in exchange for getting to land more than an hour later than the Globetrotters. As we see everyone running through the airport, Mike describes it as a "dogfight for last." Well, for his team it is. All five teams run to the garage and request a car. While they're waiting, Vyxsin asks Mike if he's good at maps, and then informs him that they'll follow him, like they're all in a caravan to an after-party instead of a race for a million bucks. Margie and Luke get into a puke-green car in sixth place, saying, "We're all going to wait for each other." Sure you are. That's the prerogative of the first flight, not the second. Mike and Mel get their car in seventh place, and when Jaime and Cara arrive to try to claim their car, Vyxsin jumps down their throat about how long she and Kent have been waiting (ten minutes). Kent, who is already getting into their car, tells Vyxsin not to worry about it, and Jaime correctly points out, "They already brought your car down. You should have just already gotten into it." "Put your makeup bag in," Zev adds, unsolicited. Kent backs the car out, and Team Go Team claims their car in ninth place. While Zen and Justin are waiting to be the last team to get a car, Justin watches Jaime backing up crooked, and predicts that she's going to break a mirror on the frame of the car-holder. Well, she does bump her back left tire against the cradle's low rim, forcing her to correct course, so no broken mirror...yet. Meanwhile, Vyxsin is haranguing Kent about trying to get in line behind Mel and Mike, which he can't because Team Go Team has snaked in there ahead of him. "Those reds are pretty pushy, but that's not a surprise to me," Vyxsin says. In other words, she's already decided to mix it up with them at every opportunity.
Waiting for their car to come around, Justin is saying, "Come on, Ferrari. Come on, Porsche." I think it should be obvious that any cars that get parked on a rotating rack are...not going to be on the high end. "No whammy, no whammy," Zev adds. Wrong game show. Ultimately, they get into a regular car like everyone else.
