Saw That Coming

We meet again them after the ads as Brendon tells her to get back into the game. "You have a booger on your nose," she sobs. Brendon thanks her for the tip. Finally they get a cab and Rachel sits there dead-eyed while Brendon delivers his latest apology for once again failing to sufficiently enable her bullshit.

Team Army Wives and the Border Patrol are in the cab race and then the final sprint into the park where Phil is waiting with a soccer player, but it's Other Rachel and Major Dave who run to the mat first, although Other Rachel doesn't stop until she's in Phil's arms. The soccer player welcomes them to Buenos Aires, and Phil tells them they're Team Number One again, and have won a trip to Grenada. Other Rachel is even more worried about having a target on their back, but is still happy about having the Express Pass to fall back on. Just like she said at the beginning of the leg.

Art and JJ are team number two, and they take it pretty hard. "We're just so competitive," JJ explains. And wound tighter than ukulele strings on a guitar.

The last bus is just now getting into town, traveling on the city motorways with three-and-a-half very stressed teams. I say three and a half because Andrew appears to be asleep.

Meanwhile, at the auction, Nary and Stacy are busy with their math. On the sidelines, Kerri seems sympathetic to what Stacy must be dealing with: "Yeah, we're country girls, but we don't get this close to the cattle." Meanwhile, Bopper and Mark arrive on the mat in third place. Finally the last bus arrives at the station, and eight very frustrated racers jump off and get cabs. Brendon and Rachel arrive in fourth place and celebrate. Rachel interviews that she and Brendon "got into it a little bit," as though they're ever not fighting. She says they need to improve on talking things out. Brendon: "Something bad happens, you move on." "You" is correct, because "they" certainly never do.

Stacy interviews that she helps her eleven-year-old with his homework, which may give her an edge on the other teams when it comes to long division. Good thing Nary and Jamie aren't claiming to be fourth-grade teachers. Stacy gets it on the first try, so she and Kerri get to leave in fifth place. And I have to say that Stacy has proved herself invaluable, as long as she doesn't have to leave the ground. Nary also gets her clue, so they're out of there in sixth. Not that either of these teams knows about the bus that fell behind them.
