The Bransens head for Lake Powell.

Mama wants to drag the boat, but DJ and Tony insist it's still too heavy to drag. When she mutters that she gives up, DJ flips out and orders her to go away if she's going to give up. He's basically losing his shit, knowing that they're probably out. When she brings up flipping the boat, he loses it some more, hollering that they've already tried flipping it and they can't. Of course, flipping it would get progressively easier as you took more water out, so it's not like that's something you'd only try once, no?

After another set of commercials, we return to find the Paolos still bickering. Finally, they get the boat empty enough to pull, and they drag it across the line and earn their pit stop clue. On the way back, Brian says, "I don't want to be eliminated; I really don't."

The Linzes are the first to arrive at Antelope Point, and they excitedly run down looking for marked boats. They didn't read the clue quite carefully enough, however, so they missed the part where it was a marked path to the boats, not just marked boats. So they have to double back and take a circuitous route to the little motorboats that await. One of them is already rehearsing. "'Linz Family, you're team number one!' 'You're damn right we are, Phil!'" I think they definitely smell the victory, and who can blame them? On the other hand...yeah, you never want to invite disaster like that. Finally, they do get headed in the right direction. The pinks are just behind them.

Launching the little motorboat turns out to be harder than it looks, and it's fairly tight between the Linzes and the pinks by the time they both get going. Meanwhile, the Weavers get there a bit behind. As for the Bransens, they and the Paolos both know that it's a race between the two of them to be eliminated.

As the Linzes and Godlewskis putter along in the water, the Godlewskis start to gain ground. It would appear that everybody's got their boat on full speed, so they all deduce that this has to do with the greater weight that the Linzes are carrying. Both teams are frantically looking around every bend for Phil, the Linzes just hoping that Phil will appear before the pinks have a chance to actually catch up and pass them. And then we look up ahead to see Phil at the mat with some random kid. And...approaching Phil...it's...the pinks. Holy moly. They get up on the mat and are welcomed as team number one. Their prize is a travel trailer. This show has officially turned into The Price Is Right, complete with showcase showdown. The prize for next time, just so you know, will be a Garfield lamp.
