The Four Seasons. As the (im)Clones pull up in a limo, Charles tells Susan Lyne who she will be meeting, "Jim, Bethenny, and Dawna, who has won three tasks as a project manager." Susan asks if Charles has any sense of why they want to work at MSLO. "Bethenny is all about all the things that Martha loves. Jim has this tremendous amount of energy [that's not "energy," that's a nervous condition], and Dawna, I think, is someone who has potential as a real manager -- it's real interesting." The (im)Clones walk in, and Charles introduces Susan. Susan asks what has been the biggest surprise for them during this process. Hateful Jim offers, "I didn't realize how tough mentally I could be until I came here. I am like a super-villain. I'm really, really good at being the bad guy. I intended on working this strategy from all these different sides and utilizing the loft in a way that was maybe not entirely scrupulous." You know what surprises me most about that statement? That he even knows the word "scrupulous." Susan raises her eyebrows at Charles, who looks placidly back through the nonexistent smoke of his unlit cigar. Dawna tells Susan that she feels opposite of Hateful Jim, and that she'd rather it be a good fight to the end rather than making sure she faced the weakest opponent. Dawna confessionals that she was surprised Hateful Jim even brought up his agenda to Susan. At the restaurant, Hateful Jim adds, "But it is a game." Hateful Jim confessionals, "Truly the job interview here is more than just a job interview, it IS a game. And people play the game and anyone who says they're not playing it as a game is a liar." He put air quotes in there somewhere, but they seem to be as misplaced as his LITERALLYs. As we pull away from the restaurant, we hear Hateful Jim say, "Oh, we're all feeling good. I hate you bastards, I'll kill you all later." What I don't get is how Hateful Jim thinks this jackass personality is going to translate itself into money or success. Sure, Omarosa wrote a book, but does anyone care? Unless Hateful Jim puts himself in a cage under a big top and charges five hundred dollars a pop for people to come and view The Dogface Blithering Ass, I don't see what all this will get him.Loft. Ryan and Marcela sit on the deck and bitch about their loss. Marcela thinks that Leslie has to take full responsibility for the loss. Considering that Leslie herself said that she executed the concept "almost single-handedly," I totally agree. She's "almost single-handedly" to blame. Minus the "almost."
