Tara takes a minute to figure out her strategery. Laura is hoping that she gets to sit out. I can see Jillian's motivational talks last week really took. Tara is stressed, because she could really eff things up if she gets this wrong. She announces the match-ups: Mike versus Cathy, which scares the shit out of Cathy; Sione versus Mandi, which I think actually could go either way; Filipe versus Kristin, which makes Filipe feel tremendously overconfident despite the fact that they've been about even so far; Helen versus Ron, which is kind of boring whichever way it goes; and Aubrey versus Laura, which means that Tara herself is choosing to sit out! Aubrey interviews that there's a common misconception that Laura is weak, which is actually not the case. I agree that she's had some pretty consistent numbers. Sami asks Tara why she chose to sit out, and she doesn't really answer other than saying that Laura and Aubrey would be a good match-up. However, she tells the truth in an interview: she's scared of losing. That's pretty lame for someone who's so kick-ass. Both teams agree that Tara did a good job, but Mandi says that she underestimated the Blue Team. Kristin interviews that the Blue Team is going to shock everyone this week by winning some impossible-seeming match-ups, and Tara's going to be sent home. She'll realize that she made the biggest mistake of her life, says Kristin. And with that healthy sense of underdogism, we head to commercials.
When we return, it's time for Bob to shill some product. Want fiber? Eat some Fiber One bars! You'll be pooping like a champ in no time.
Once the fiber has been eaten, it's time for Bob's team to hit the gym. Bob, in a black leather jacket like he's a modern-day Fonzie, interviews some displeasure with the format for this week. While Cathy is going to have a tough time besting Mike, Bob thinks that Kristin and Filipe will have a battle on their hands. Similarly, Jillian tells us that Laura and Aubrey are a pretty even match-up. Bob, however, wants Aubrey to wipe the floor with Laura. He needs to do more yoga, man. Helen seems like she should be able to take Ron, but Bob is going to work Mandi like an indentured servant to beat Sione. Bob interviews that Tara set up this face-off perfectly for the Black Team. However, Jillian thinks that her team is getting cocky and complacent, and they need to remember that underdogs always rise up, especially when there's good TV at stake. Helen says that Jillian literally killed them. This is not true, since she is still talking, but oh how I wish it were. We'd all have saved ourselves a lot of grief.
