Filipe interviews that Jillian turns him off when she does things like degrade players and tell them to die in an iron lung. He says that nobody deserves to be spoken to like that, and that you have to have a sense of limits. Bob knew when to push and when to hold back, he says. However, Jillian just keeps pushing, and today she pushed the wrong button. She asks Filipe what she can do for him. Filipe wonders how he's supposed to trust her when she talks so much crap, and says that right now he's so conflicted that he doesn't even know if he wants to work out. And then he gets to the real issue, which is that Jillian wasn't paying enough attention to him in the last workout. He freaks out and yells that the last workout she worked everybody but him. He, like, punches shit and walks out of the room. Sione follows. Jillian just shakes her head in that way that you can tell her inner monologue is as such: "I need to get a new job."
Tension abounds. Jillian and the remaining Black Team members sit in silence and wonder about the nature of Filipe's abandonment issues, while Filipe and Sione walk together. Sione is glad that Filipe voiced his opinion, and interviews that he was feeling the same things. Jillian interviews that when she confronts Filipe and Sione about their issues, they just run to daddy because they're mad. Her thoughts on this? "Screw you." Indeed, Filipe and Sione head to the gym where they find Bob and immediately commence pouting. I believe that they call Jillian a bitch and/or something worse, and then tell Bob they're not going to work out with her anymore. Bob looks shocked and asks what happened, and Sione tells him that Jillian hasn't worked out Filipe individually in a week. Filipe conjectures that this is because Jillian wants to get rid of him. He. Hates. Jillian. He thinks she's fake, and refuses to work out with her. Bob notes that he's never seen Filipe in such a state of rage. Filipe says that since he switched teams, it's been hard for him to focus on why he's there. When he was with Bob he thought about his kids and his wife, but with Jillian it's all a game. Bob tells Filipe and Sione that it's okay if they want to work out with him. He interviews that they're struggling and lost, and that this is not about Black and Blue. It's about people trying to lose weight and get healthy. Filipe and Sione work well with him, he says, so they're going to work with him.
And they do, even in the last chance workout. Sione works out next to Mandi, and Bob jokingly tells them to crush each other. Mandi admits that it made it hard to focus. Bob says that this is the craziest last chance workout in Biggest Loser history. It is really a mystery to me how this season has managed to be so dramatic and so dull all at once. Jillian enters the gym and is relieved to see Filipe and Sione working out with Bob, because she doesn't want to deal with them. There's a part of her that thinks that Bob should have sent them back to resolve their issues with her, but there's another part of her that just doesn't care anymore. She's working the crap out of her four remaining players in hopes that they have a chance of staying. Filipe interviews that, even though he's working out with Bob, he still wants the Black Team to win. He's not a part of Jillian, he says, he's a part of the team.
