The losers sit and Sami grills them. She asks Amy if she's still happy with the decision to switch to Jillian. That was, like, the one non-Neil based exciting thing to happen this season, huh? She is very happy, and says that Jillian saw her true potential and maximized it, while helping her to acquire an "I can" attitude. As we can see, she says, she knows she can now. And does! Sami asks Jim how it was going home and losing weight without his brother. Jim says it ratcheted up his competitive spirit, because he didn't want to be outdone by Bill, never mind the other booted folks. Sami brings up Neil's seventeen-pound weight gain, and asks how his family felt about it. Neil admits that it wasn't his proudest moment and maybe made his parents question his moral integrity, and then talks really fast about gameplay and beating the scale. He seems happy, in any case. Sami then asks B how he succeeded at home. He says he stuck to what Kim taught him and fine-tuned his diet, and also had a lot of support from his family. These people are all so dehydrated, aren't they? Someone's totally going to get all miraged out and jump into the scale, thinking it's a freshwater pond.
And then it's time to see our final four head home! I know, I know, you all hate the final four except Bill. But bear with me. They're all excited but nervous. Bill cries as he says it was the most difficult thing to leave his family, but when they see him, they'll understand that he had to do it for himself. Julie says she's made some significant sacrifices to be there -- she even missed kindergarten graduation. She doesn't want her child to look back on the time she spent on the show and think it was wasted. Believe me, Julie, when you are truly a MILF, he will resent you even more than he does now. Isabeau enters her family party and gets a big cheer and a hug from her boyfriend, John. He bears an uncomfortable resemblance to an albino rat, but clearly loves her, so you have to like him. Julie is greeted by her husband and redheaded son, who says it was the best thing ever to see her. Mike, Julie's husband, is busting at the seams with pride. But not in the way that she used to bust seams. Metaphorically. Julie has a big party of people waiting for her in her backyard. Oh, good. I was worried that she had no friends. Julie thanks everyone, and makes a plump little girl cry. I bet.
Oh, and then Hollie! She gets a big party, too, which makes her happy. Eva, Hollie's Smuckers-aged grandmother, says she's so proud because it's something that Hollie wanted to do, and she obviously tried hard and looks great. Some girls do a Hollie cheer, and we get to see how gorgeous she looks when she's smiling. And then, there's Bill, clearly a fan favorite by the amount of cheering from the live audience. His wife, Stephanie, and three kids, wait. He says it's a nerve-wracking experience, walking through the door when he hasn't seen his family for four months. Bill's kids totally love him. For a second I totally got him confused with Stabler from Law and Order: SVU. Is that weird? Luke, Bill's son, is amazed at how much weight Bill lost. Bill has so many friends that he has to have his party at a place called The Vulcan. Which is totally where Stabler would have his party. I'm just saying. Jim is excited to have Bill as a workout partner, and says that they'll work together to beat everyone else. It would be kind of awesome if they both won their respective prizes.
