It's Decision 2008! And all I can think about is who would be Tim Russert's ideal partner for The Biggest Loser 6. Am I wrong to think of the hilarity and sparks that would fly if he were paired up with Mo'Nique? It would be heaven.

In any case, folks are working out. Kelly tells us that it was a particularly rough night for her, Brittany, and Paul. She doesn't want to let her team down. Maggie laments the loss of Jenn, but determines to be that much stronger now that she's gone. Brittany worries that the Black Team is going up against a team they can't beat. Just in time to boost these flagging spirits, Jillian enters. Her team got crushed in the last elimination, and she needs to figure out what went wrong. As was intimated last week, there are some diet issues. Kelly has been eating around 1,000 calories a day, and Jillian tells her that she needs at least 1,600. After some prodding, Brittany admits that on some days she'd only eat 500 calories. How does she stay upright? I feel faint just thinking about that.

Jillian says that food is the problem. Her team is working out up to six hours a day, and when you don't eat and "feed the machine," the body shuts down and it slows the metabolism. She tells them that they need to hit their calories. Or, I'm guessing, she'll hit them. I bet they'll bruise easily, too. Oddly enough, I think Jillian calls Jenn "Spike." The name of my first hamster! If Paul's nickname is "Cupcake," the universe is trying to send me a message. Jillian promises her team that this will not happen again. Bob is game on, says Jillian, but his Achilles heel is hubris. It is? He always seemed so nice! You know that she just hates when he gets on his yogic high horse and/or starts bragging about how good he is at running up escalators.

The contestants meet up with Sami, who puts each of them face-to-face with a booth full of chocolate caramels. Each chocolate is only 26 calories, says Sami. As these are Maggie's favorite candies, she is both excited and terrified. Sami tells the contestants that if they eat all 100 chocolates, that's 2600 calories. I'm glad that even as a child actor she got the "multiplying by 100" thing down solidly. On-set tutoring works! Sami notes that she's heard something over the past few weeks about the teams being divided unfairly, but that can all change tonight. The contestant who eats 100 chocolates first, or, barring the supremely inhuman ability to eat 100 chocolates in five minutes, the contestant who eats the most total chocolates, can switch any player on their team with any player on the other team, themselves included. Dan is tempted, but doesn't think Bob would be too happy about him scarfing caramels.
