Michelle and Jillian have a one-on-one, in which Michelle talks about her divorce trauma. Apparently Renee left Pink Dad for another man, and Michelle then took on her role as "facilitator." Michelle made sure that they stuck to the meeting agenda and everyone got a chance to speak and everything ended on time? What does this mean? I guess that ultimately it means Michelle has a lot of anger and resentment towards her mom, and we don't have to bother with understanding the technical terms. Jillian tells Michelle that her mom did the best thing that she could do by leaving that marriage. She wasn't happy or in love. For once in her life, she put herself first. Jillian asks Michelle if she has ever done that. Michelle has not, and as a result she's not very happy. Jillian tells Michelle that she needs to take care of herself. Michelle realizes that no one else is going to fix this for her. Except maybe Coldplay. But Michelle says she has to fix herself and believe she's worth fixing. Otherwise, nothing is being accomplished, and any weight she loses will just pile back on. Which is what Jillian always says! Michelle is indoctrinated for sure, now.
Bob's team works out at the gym. Bob takes issue with the big yellow line that separates his side of the gym from Jillian's, and so rips it right up. They should have painted that shit on. Bob feels like a rebel, and likes it. He notes that the gym is a positive place, and the yellow line is not a positive thing. It's going to be one happy family back in the gym, he says. One big, happy, vomiting family, screaming in pain. Jillian thinks it's awesome that Bob has removed the yellow line, and adds that he can come on her side of the gym... if he dares. I really enjoy how Bob and Jillian love each other, though I sometimes secretly wish that Kim was still around for Jillian to occasionally bitchslap.
Coleen of the Yellow Team notes that this is typically a plateau week. Last week she and her dad had immunity, which was a nice cushion. This week, there's just the cold, hard gym floor to fall back on. Jerry tells us that there has been a huge difference for him between last week and this week. When he started, he felt like he was dying. Now he's not 100%, but he's getting there. Despite the aches and pains, he feels pretty good. L.T. tells us that Jillian is giving them some serious beatings, but that's how it goes in the Dreaded Week Two. Bob also opens up a can of whoop-ass on his team. Brady is worried that he has a target on his back after losing 28 pounds last week. And then! As he works out and drops to the floor after doing some sort of arm exercise Bob says to him, "Do it again. Control yourself. Don't drop yourself to the ground like a bitch." Damn! Maybe Bob needs a session with Dr. Phillian, too. Is it wrong that I found Bob calling a 350-pound man a bitch kind of hot?
