In Boston, MA, Jillian's picking up Tom and Tom. They're a father/son duo who both drive cabs and like to stop at the drive-thru. God, I love these accents, they make me homesick. They're whipping up a light snack, which consists of three pounds of chicken, two pounds of pasta, three jars of alfredo sauce and two canisters of parmesan cheese. Damn. Now I'm hungry and homesick. Their whole family is filled with huge burly guys. Jillian's going to teach Tom and Tom a lesson that they can take home to the rest of the crew. Jill's much more subtle than Bob. She comes onto a football field sounding an airhorn and screaming into a megaphone. Tom and L.T. (Little Tom, I think) are now the Grey team.
Now we're off to Raleigh, NC, where Bob's spreading cheer to newlyweds Ed and Heba. He's a chef, and likes to eat cheese doodles as a snack. They want to lose weight before they have kids. Bob goes all Max Headroom and tells them via TV's at a bar that they are in. Heba starts screaming about being the Orange team, but her mouth is filled with food, and it is totally disgusting. I am no longer hungry. This could be the best diet ever.
Jillian's calling Michigan to chat with a mother/daughter team who she thinks are hilarious. Amy and Shellay are surrounded by their friends and family when the phone rings, why do they always pretend to be surprised? Like the camera crews around the party aren't a dead giveaway that you're in. They're trying to feign excitement. I want to believe them, but I can't.
Bob's in Houma, LA, to meet typical fast-food family Brad and Vicky, who have a 4-year-old who weighs 63 lbs. and outweighs her 7-year-old brother. Bob stops them before they eat a huge plate of donuts. They are the Brown team. The kids seem confused about what the hell is going on.
Jillian's driving to Dallas, TX to reunite an estranged mother/daughter team. Michelle's parents got divorced. Renee took the other kids and left Michelle with the dad. Michelle feels she's worthless and starts to eat. They've got issues, but they are ready to get over it and move on. The ladies are at a church with an enthusiastic minister who wants them to get on the show. Jillian shows up with the pink shirts. The crowd goes wild.
