Home Sweet Home

Mike and Ron are in the kitchen when the doorbell rings. They find a blue can and black can sitting on the porch. The other contestants find similar deliveries at their doors. Helen opens it and finds a DVD that says, "play now." She also finds a whole lot of big-ass sugar cookies. Aubrey knows that this is a temptation challenge, and reminds us that she doesn't need any additional temptations at home. The DVD features Sami, who lays out the challenge. Kristin has an interview in which she says the word "cheaaaallleeenge" about 1,600 times and makes me want to suffocate her with a sugar cookie. Sami tells the contestants that they're going to be running a half-marathon -- 13.5 miles. Everyone's all, "What you talkin' 'bout, Sami?" Sami says that there's something else. They will be facing a cookie temptation. For every cookie they eat, they can add five minutes to the player of their choice's half-marathon time. The player with the fastest time wins $10,000. Aubrey's husband Justin is ready to put her on his shoulders and start running now. At the end of the video, Sami says that she'll see them on campus, where she'll reveal who the winner is. Tricky!

Tara knows she's screwed with the five-minute cookie rule since she's the best runner on campus. Mike thinks that Sione is a threat, too. Aubrey is ready to eat the cookies and add time to at least three player's scores, as is Kristin. Sione says that the $10,000 is not what this is about -- it's about life changes. I think those cookies might go stale in his household. Aubrey eats her cookies with relish and says that she's going to give five-minute penalties out like they're candy canes at Christmas. She bets that everyone will have eaten cookies. Tara, Laura, Cathy, and Ron take the high road and deny the pull of the cookies, but Helen eats at least one.
