The next day, Sunshine heads to Minneapolis. She gets a ride in a limo, and can't wait to see what's unfolded for her at home. Turns out there's a huge group of folks waiting at the local high school. Sunshine looks radiant, and humbled to see everyone -- and most especially her family -- waiting for her. O'Neal is thrilled to see her smile and her confidence. He's so happy and proud for her. Sunshine tells the crowd that she's missed them all. She urges them to appreciate small victories, and says that you can achieve any goal you set your mind to. It's all about how hard you want to commit and how bad you want it. And if you fail, that's okay, but you have to get back up and do it again. Sunshine tells us that she's never felt so happy.
Sunshine is a die-hard Minnesota Twins baseball fan, and used to wear a men's X-Large jersey. Now, she's totally in, like, a women's medium. And she gets to throw the first pitch out at the game! Go, Sunshine! She's excited to do a healthy tailgate with her family. They're having turkey burgers, asparagus, fresh fruit, and a broccoli salad. The meal will be 300-400 calories of deliciousness. Sunshine heads out onto the field with O'Neal, and is overcome with happiness. Sunshine throws the pitch, which falls short of home plate but is nicely placed. O'Neal is thrilled and proud of Sunshine, and calls this a perfect day. Sunshine says that this is a perfect ending to her Biggest Loser experience. She has lost a total of 113 pounds and hopes to lose another 20 before the finale.
Next week: The final four head home for 30 days, and have their final weigh-in on campus. Someone gains two pounds!
