After more ads, we've got three at-home Losers left to weigh in, and Sami asks Darrell how he's feeling. "I think this might be short-lived," Darrell says. He seems pretty intimidated by Sam and Koli, as anyone would be. At least until you hear them speak in those voices of theirs that are soothing enough to calm a death-row inmate with panic disorder.
Clip of Cheryl and Jillian screaming at each other during a workout, and Sami says she looks "dainty and delicate and feminine" up on the scale. "Where did you find that inner beast?" "It's there," Cheryl says. She gets on the scale, and needs to have lost more than 103 off her original 227 to pass Darrel. Her new weight is 151, 76 pounds, or 33.48% Her reaction is the most subdued we've seen. So far.
Sam's clip shows him knocking the practice pads off Jillian's hands during boxing drills, which makes me wonder why he's even still alive. Sami asks Jillian how many people have done that. "Just Sam," Jillian says in a faux-lite tone that tells us she's just waiting for the cameras to be off to take him out. Sam started at 372, and has to have lost more than 170 pounds to beat Darrell and face off against his cousin. The final: 230, which means he lost 142 pounds, or 38.17%, so Darrell's safe. He hugs Darrell when he comes down off the scale, and Stephanie looks a little jealous.
Just Koli left now. His clip shows him talking about wanting to run away from all this. His starting weight was 403, and he needs to have lost more than 184 pounds. After the ads, of course.
Sami welcomes us back, and makes Koli wait even longer, reminding Darrell that Dr. H. told him he was the sickest person of the season, and now he's up against Koli for $100,000. "That's great stuff," Darrell says. What else is he going to say? As for Koli, Sami goads him, "I bet you care what happens next, right?" She whips up the crowd, trying to get some cheering sections going, before finally telling Koli to get on the scale. The beeping definitely takes longer this time. Finally, it comes up as 188 -- a spectacular 215 pounds, which means he lost an amazing 53.35% of himself. The crowd goes wild as the cousins embrace. Bye, Darrell. Koli wins the hundred grand just like Sami said he might. And Koli? Just wants to go home now.
