Back at the gym, Bob enters. We get a flashback of Bob freaking out and dropping f-bombs all over Joelle. Kristin also does a dramatic interpretation of the event for us. Bob does not seem all that thrilled that he'll be heading to Detroit with Joelle. He's going to be forced to tell Carla that Joelle has been stinking it up, and then witness a homicide. And hey! Before we know it we're in Detroit, in Carla's manse. Seriously, her house is huge. Carla gives Bob and Joelle a big warm greeting, and then everyone settles in for a talk. Carla tells Bob that she's been staying positive at home, and then Bob talks about his and Joelle's "growing pains." But the editors are not going to show us that smile again (oooh, show us that smile). Instead, they are going to show us Bob screaming, "I'm sick of just words, words, words! Talk, talk, talk! Shut the fuck up!" If I had a nickel for every time Carol Seaver said that exact same thing. Bob tells Carla that Joelle is at the bottom of the list at the weigh-in. Carla interviews that Joelle needs to get herself together because there is no time for foolishness.
Carla confrontationally asks Joelle how she'd feel if she knew Carla was at home not doing what she's supposed to be doing. I mean, says the woman who just ate 3,000 calories. But put that aside for a minute. Because Bob suddenly becomes a big, bold, sassy black woman and just goes, "Oooooooooooh." I'm surprised he doesn't toss a "You go girl!" in Carla's direction. We go to commercial, and when we come back instead of getting the satisfaction of seeing Carla bitch-slap Joelle as Bob waves his finger in her face, we have the three of them peacefully talking about yogurt as a healthy snack. That is so wrong.
Back at the ranch, Jillian works out her team. Mandi suddenly starts to feel ill and weird, and starts crying. She needed to eat five donuts in the challenge to keep up her strength, I guess. Jillian interviews that there are people who come on the show who are very heavy emotionally, and it appears that Mandi is one. She misses her kids, and it's making her lightheaded. Jillian has a bit of a Dr. Phillian moment with Mandi -- self-confidence, blah blah blah. I'm sure we'll see more about this in future episodes.
