Tara is first to get a ball to the bins, and she looks back to Mandi for direction. Mandi tells her to put it in Filipe's bin, so that's what Tara does. Filipe is, in fact, the first to be eliminated. Helen and some of the others on Bob's team employ the strategies of getting the strong ones out first, and so eliminate Tara and Dane in quick order. Eventually, it comes down to Helen and Joelle. They each have four footballs in their bins, and are in a footrace for the victory. Helen hustles just a bit more, and wins! She has guaranteed herself another week on campus, along with her flour-throwing daughter! She calls Shannon to let her know, and Shannon seems awfully excited, if not a whit skinnier. Helen interviews that she never wants to go back to the way she used to look and adds that it feels good to rediscover her self-esteem.
And then it's time for breakfast with Bob! Featuring Fiber One original cereal! Mmm, delicious fiber-filled twigs! Also, Blaine comes home and announces to his team that he has a new baby boy. His team missed him, which makes Blaine feel good. However, he knows that three days away from campus makes him vulnerable and is ready to suit up and hit the gym immediately.
Last chance workout! Everyone wants their teammates to come back. We get split screen footage of the contestants working out on the ranch and the contestants working out at home. We don't get footage of Dave at home, likely because his exercise consists of walking to and from the buffet line. Dan is also having some hard times. Jillian says that he's a great kid, but he doesn't push himself or get out of his comfort zone. She wants Dan to run five minutes on the treadmill, but instead he runs for one minute, jumps off, and starts up with a hacking cough. Dan says that he can't do it, but Jillian begs to differ and so screams at him. At one point he falls and cries like a baby. Jillian tells him to get up. She wants him to have an achievement, so they can nurture and foster and build on that. Dan tells Jillian that he never thought it was possible not to be fat, because he's never known anything different. But Jillian puts her Dr. Phillian ways on hold for a minute and tells Dan to get back on the treadmill. She gives him encouragement as he goes, and he hits the five minute mark. Jillian hopes that he realizes that his fear and the image he's created for himself are not true.
And without further ado, it's time for the weigh-in! This is the big week, and everyone is on edge. Sami asks Joelle what she's done to make this week different than the others, when she was a lazy cur. She says that she kept her light shining all week, and Bob agrees that she was great. Helen has immunity, and is proud to have proved to herself that she's strong enough to bring Shannon back. And then surprise! All of the at-home teammates are back to be a part of the weigh-in. There is much hugging and excitement and whatnot. Sam then drops some knowledge on everyone: at this weigh-in, the Black and Brown Teams will weigh in together, and their combined percentage of weight will determine if they go below the yellow line. All the other players will weigh in individually, with the percentage of weight lost by the teammate who stayed on the ranch determining whether each team falls below the yellow line. There will be a vote, per usual, and one team will be eliminated.
