Oh! And then we travel to Phoenix with Blaine for some baby birthing. His wife Jenny is pretty happy to see him. She is a brave woman to be on national TV in her hospital gown and showercap and all. The drugs probably mellowed her out. And...it's a boy! And he screams like Jillian. Blaine's other kids, all of whom are really gorgeous, come to see the new baby, whose name is Brecken. I'm guessing Blaine's kids are all impossibly named, Palin-style. And then Blaine has to tell his adorable, impossibly named kids that he's leaving again. Yeah, the baby's popped out, get back on the treadmill, fatty. Enjoy a slice of Extra Sugar Free Gum on the plane!
Before we know it, it's challenge time, NFL style. The contestants meet Sami on a football field, where she introduces them to two-time NFL MVP Kurt Warner, the quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. As a Steelers fan, I am highly offended! They couldn't have gotten Ben Roethlisberger? To make it healthier, I'm sure he would have let them call him Ben Roethlisturkeyberger. In any case I must say it again: GO STILLERS! Kurt Warner tells the contestants that he had a lot of naysayers, but with commitment, determination and faith, anything is possible. Kurt's story really spoke to Joelle, most likely because having a 400-pound linebacker coming at you and having Carla come at you are quite similar experiences. The winner of the challenge will get immunity, which means his or her partner will automatically come back to the ranch. That's a big prize! The contestants basically have to do some sprints on the field, during which they'll pick up footballs. There are bins with each contestant's name on the field. When a contestant has five balls dropped in their bin, they're out. The last person standing wins.
Tara is first to get a ball to the bins, and she looks back to Mandi for direction. Mandi tells her to put it in Filipe's bin, so that's what Tara does. Filipe is, in fact, the first to be eliminated. Helen and some of the others on Bob's team employ the strategies of getting the strong ones out first, and so eliminate Tara and Dane in quick order. Eventually, it comes down to Helen and Joelle. They each have four footballs in their bins, and are in a footrace for the victory. Helen hustles just a bit more, and wins! She has guaranteed herself another week on campus, along with her flour-throwing daughter! She calls Shannon to let her know, and Shannon seems awfully excited, if not a whit skinnier. Helen interviews that she never wants to go back to the way she used to look and adds that it feels good to rediscover her self-esteem.
