The Silver Team is next, and they're making Bob nervous. Joelle interviews that 1) her numbers might suck; 2) but it doesn't matter because 2a) Carla has been working hard and 2b) there other members of Bob's team can save them if they go below the yellow line. Okay, she deserves all the screaming from Carla. ["And though we've established she's good at math, she's clearly not good with variables, like what happens if two of Bob's teams go beneath the yellow line." -- AC] Carla goes from 348 to 339 for a loss of 9, while Joelle goes from 278 to 278 for a loss of -- you got it -- zero. She seems kind of shocked, in that weird-ass mentally deficient way of hers. Carla is totally calm because she just expects Joelle to let her down. Bob can feel the shame coming out of Joelle. Aubrey interviews that she was shocked to see a zero on the scale, because she actually expected Joelle to gain weight. Aubrey then starts crying at the weigh-in, because Carla is so dedicated and kick-ass and she doesn't have a partner who is worthy of her. Joelle explains that she got into higher intensity this week and challenged herself to do things she had not done before. Bob gives his queeniest "WTF?" look. Everyone knows that Joelle is a crazy mofo. The Silver Team has lost 1.44% total.
The Black Team is up next. Jillian says that they are the most disadvantaged in the house. Blaine has been losing double digits for weeks, and at some point that is going to stop. And if it's this week, she says, they're gone. The dramatic music kicks into extra high gear, like this is fucking Braveheart. Blaine goes from 312 to 303 for a loss of 9, while Dane goes from 345 to 334 for a loss of 11. That's 20 pounds total, and they have lost 140 pounds total in their time on campus. Their total percentage is 3.04%. The Green Team is next, and has to have lost more than 15 pounds to stay safe. Laura goes from 265 to 252 for a loss of 13, while Tara goes from 252 to 240 for a loss of 12! Holy crow! That's 25 pounds total, or 4.84%. They take the lead from the Yellow Team and are definitely safe.
Next is the Brown Team, who were quite emotionally below the yellow line last week. They need to have lost more than 21 pounds to stay safe. Mike goes from 339 to 330 for a loss of 9, while Ron goes from 370 to 366 for a loss of 4. Aw, man. That's 13 pounds total or 1.83%. Mike interviews that he was mad at his dad's low number for a split second, but then realized the reality of the situation -- Ron has 54 years old and has two bad knees. I hope that the Brown Team makes it to the makeover episode, if only so that Ron can get a body wax and the proper support garment for his moobs. The Black Team is definitely safe, which is good news for all lovers of Jillian and her disciples.
