Cara reads poorly from a teleprompter and tells us that she's had some tragedy in her life. Her parents have both passed away, and though sometimes she doesn't want to talk about it, she knows that to heal you have to open up. And if Rulon doesn't open up he won't get the most out of this experience. Rulon tells us that he doesn't trust a lot of people, and when he feels uneasy he tends to pull back. He used to have a very good relationship with his heart and his soul, and truly needs to stop being a tough guy before it's too late. Oooh, I just want Dr. Phillian to have at him. It could be her final psych-faux-analysis triumph.
Meanwhile, the Red Team decides to have a little friendly internal competition. Jen is pitted against team leader Justin in a pool-related challenge. I'm sure you will be shocked to know that the prize involves Subway. They start off swimming in their sweatshirts, and then Justin takes his off halfway and ends up winning. He gets a Subway breakfast in bed, served by Jen. Let us pray that this is not the start of another infamous Biggest Loser romance. And why stop with the product placements now? Arthur tries to decide what he wants for dinner, and throws around a whole bunch of Ziploc bags. The ladies on his team give him diet tips, because even though they secretly want to get rid of him, they'd like to win the weigh-in even more. And one way to do that is to discourage Arthur from eating cheese.
And then, ew. Jen delivers Subway breakfast to Justin, and leaps on him in bed. I am so grossed out right now. As Jen leaves the camera focuses on the Subway wrapper, conveniently draped over Justin's crotch. How do you like those five dollar footlongs?
With that, it's time for a challenge. It's evening, and Sami tells the teams that it's one thing to push each other, and another thing to push... a train. Yes, a train. For this challenge, each team will be pushing a 24-ton train 800 feet. The real question is, are there hobos inside? Along the way, the teams will have to answer trivia questions. Each train contains bags of food that are possible answers to the questions. At each stop, the teams will have to throw out the right bag of food. For every wrong answer, 15 seconds will be added to their time. One team will go at a time, and the team with the fastest overall time will win. The prize is the ability to pick one player from the other team whose weight will not count at this week's weigh-in. The Black Team would very much like to win this. They must again choose a player to sit out, and decide upon Deni.
