With that, it's voting time. Courtney tells us how essential it is to keep her mom there, because she's the glue of the team and has generally had good numbers. She thinks it would be best for all of the kids on the team to vote Jesse off. Naturally. Now, notice who the ringleader of this plan was, and who of the three expendable parents is still standing in the end. Marci isn't exactly throwing herself on this particular cross. Courtney votes first, and votes for Jesse. Sarah votes for Jesse too. And so does Olivia. And so does Hannah. They all say really nice things about him, and seem sincere about it, but the situation is still so crunk. Marci casts the deciding vote to oust Jesse. Jesse says that in this game, this is the ultimate gift you can give those you love. No it's not! Argh. I hate that he drank the Kool-Aid. He feels honored to have been able to do that, and tells Arthur to work hard. Arthur says that when he started putting on his weight, Jesse was the only person to tell him how worried he was, and how he needed to do something. Arthur thanks Jesse for never giving up on him. He loves Jesse, and promises him that he'll get rid of all of his weight. They hug, and Jesse hugs everyone else, despite the fact that they kind of did him dirty. I think it's fine to vote someone out for whatever reason, but I don't think you have to serve up a freaking spoonful of moral superiority while doing so. I don't think there's anything honorable about what anyone on the Black Team did tonight, and also they're on a stupid reality show so should get over it. I mean, I guess I should too. I lament the fact that Jillian doesn't even care enough anymore to scream at them about this.
