And then it's the weigh-in. The historical weigh-in of the red line. Two people will be going home, and one won't even have the chance to plead his or her case. The person who falls below the red line will be out immediately. The two people below the yellow line will be up for elimination per usual. Where now there are eight, there will soon be six.
Rudy has immunity, and so will weigh in first. He goes from 332 to 324, for a loss of 8 pounds or 2.42%. With immunity, he's cool with anything. Next to weigh in is Shay. She's terrified. Shay has lost 83 pounds so far. If she loses 17, she'll be the quickest woman to lose 100 pounds. She does not expect to lose 17 pounds. Shay goes from 393 to 376 for a loss of 17!!!! Holy shit!!! She gets an enormous round of applause, and is finally allowed to cry. She gives an emotional 100 pound acceptance speech, and is clearly safe for the week. Right? RIGHT? Whatever beatings Jillian administered sure did work. Shay has lost 4.33%, which garners appreciative gasps from the others. Good for her.
Amanda is next. She goes from 207 to 202 for a loss of 5. She says she's not disappointed, but she doesn't know if it's good enough. Amanda's total percentage lost is 2.42%. Next is Rebecca. She goes from 219 to 209 for a loss of 10. Wow! All that bonus biking in the bedroom really paid off. Rebecca has lost 70 pounds total. Her percentage this week is 4.57%, which bests Shay. Danny is next. He's lost 97 pounds so far, which means he could be the third contestant this season to break 100. To stay safe, he needs to have lost more than 15 pounds. Danny goes from 333 to 316 for a loss of 17 pounds. Holy crap! Even Bob is surprised at how great the numbers are this week. In other news, I can't believe that Shay is actually in danger of falling below the lines. Danny has lost 5.11%, which puts him in first place.
