And then it's time for Michelle to come on stage. And hoo ha! She is knockout-phenomenal looking. And she knows how to walk in heels! Well done. She gets a huge reaction from the crowd. Sami points out that Michelle was about to walk out in the middle of the season. Michelle acknowledges that she struggled then, but realized at the time that she had to surrender to the process, and when she did the weight fell off. Everything that she went through on the ranch was worth it, she says. I mean, clearly. She was always a gorgeous girl, but whoo! Before we enjoy the final weigh-in, we get a preview of the next season of The Biggest Loser: Couples. Starting January 6. The new season has contestants who are heavier than ever! One guy maybe dies. Tune in, Tuesday nights at 8:00!
And now, it's time for the final three to get on the scale. Michelle has the highest percentage of weight lost at the ranch, so she gets to pick the order in which they will weigh in. Michelle wants Ed to go first, then Vicky, and then she will weigh in last. And then, as if we haven't had enough montage/reviews, we get more footage of Ed eating and sweating and wanting to die as he was working out and then getting all fit and wanting to have babies with Heba. And then FINALLY he gets on the scale. Ed started out at 335 pounds. He's down to 196, for a loss of 139 pounds. That's 41.49%. That is pretty impressive, though Amy P. and Heba both trounced him percentage-wise.
Vicky is next up on the scale. More montage... fat kids and getting her life back and finishing what she set out to do. They couldn't slip in ONE of the evil things she did in that montage? Pathetic. Vicky needs to have lost more than 102 pounds to take the lead. She doesn't seem like she thinks it's going to happen. Vicky started at 246 and now weighs 145, for a loss of 101. That's 41.06%, which is not enough to beat Ed. Which means that Vicky gets nothing! Yay! ["Sami keeps trying to cheer her up by saying that she's getting a standing ovation from the audience, but you know those people were cheering that she lost." -- Angel] Maybe she can sell her Revenge Vision Board on eBay for $250,000?
What this all means is that Michelle is the only thing standing in the way of an Ed/Heba sweep. We review her montage, which involves wanting to live a full life and abandonment issues and healing and pumping iron. Michelle is clearly the crowd favorite, as Sami has to scream over all the cheering. For Michelle to win, she needs to have lost more than 100 pounds. She steps on the scale. Michelle started at 242 pounds. Her current weight is...132, for a loss of 110! Michelle wins! Fireworks! Confetti! Big cash prize! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! For those keeping track that's 45.5%, which means that Heba would have won the grand prize if she had been in the final three! Well done, America. Treat yourself to a collective bowl of J-ello. Bob puts on a huge smile but you know that he's eating his schoolboy hat. Let's hope for his sake that the seventh time is the charm!
