And speaking of the next group, it features Cathy and Kristin, who is rocking some platinum hair and a bright pink dress! Woah! Next is David, who looks exactly the same, and Daniel, who I think is making some progress. Not Jerry-style progress, but progress. Seriously, Jerry is schooling all these young bitches. Sami tells Kristin that she looks like a rock star, then asks if she ever thought she'd be a magazine cover model. We flash to her on Life and Style, which apparently was the impetus for the haircut change. Kristin is wearing six pounds of makeup, which might skew her stats a bit. Cathy looks absolutely lovely. Dan, the largest competitor on the show, still has a long road ahead. He says that the hard part was getting started, since he would still be obese even after losing 100 pounds. But, he says, you can lose another 100 and then another 50. The point is not to ever give up. Sami doesn't even talk to Dave because he's visibly a buffet-muncher.

After a commercial break, Sami is still marveling that Jerry 1) is not dead; 2) has crushed his much younger competition. Cathy weighs in first. She has to lose more than 140 pounds to take the lead from Jerry. She goes from 293 to 198 for a loss of 95 pounds or 32.42%. Well done! She's thrilled and absolutely radiant. Then it's time for Kristin to weigh in. With her new hair she kind of looks like Pink. She had a lot of self-discovery on campus, which totally has driven her to become a motivational speaker. She needs to have lost more than 172 pounds to take the lead in the at-home challenge. She goes from 360 pounds to 193, for a loss of 167 pounds! That's awesome. Oh, good for her. I hope she has a ton of babies and gets skinny afterwards with ease. Kristin lost a total of 46.39%, which is great but STILL not enough to beat Jerry! She gets a standing ovation and cries and Cathy cries too. I do not cry, only because I am so tired already and have an hour and a half of this show left to go and need to save myself.
