Then it's time for a field trip. To a literal field! A football field, with kids running around and stuff. Sami introduces tight end Antonio Gates from the San Diego Chargers, and then the youth ambassadors -- Sunny, Lindsay and Biingo (whose name is actually spelled with TWO Is, what?????) -- run out and join their respective teams. We get a little video of Biingo, who tells us that he does not have the best eating habits. Well, no shit. But he really just wants to be a normal kids of a normal weight who does not get made fun of. Oh no, the tears are about to happen! Curses! Lindsay tells us about how she didn't go back to cheerleading this year because a few girls would whisper and laugh at her. She doesn't understand why they would be so mean to a person who's just trying to do what they love to do. It's because people are bitches. Life lessons, young one. Sunny gets a little choked up as she talks about not having a date for prom, and how she'll have to feel attractive herself before she'll find someone who will find her attractive. The kids have been at home for one week, and it sounds like things are going pretty well for them, even though they've had to balance healthy eating and more activity with their other responsibilities.
It turns out that Antonio is around to help promote the NFL's childhood obesity program, Play60. He recommends engaging in household chores such as raking and snow shoveling to help burn excess calories and keep active. As I have learned recently: snow shoveling kills. I practically needed an oxygen mask after hacking away at only 8-10 inches! Aaaaaaand, that sounds something I'd say after visiting Dolvett's Dungeon. Anyway! This week's challenge is broken down into four quarters, which will test speed, agility, strength, and a combination of all three in the final quarter. The team with the fastest time overall wins a Play60 Super School visit. This means that a favorite NFL player will come to the winner's school, and the school will get $5,000 from Play60. In sad news, Pam hasn't been cleared to compete in this challenge, so Danni and Nathan will have to represent the White Team on their own. The Red Team is leaving the final quarter to Joe, based largely on his former football greatness.
