Memorable Makeovers

Instead of the "previously on"s, we have Sami telling us that this episode will be live! Well, kind of. The booted contestant will have to come and weigh in live, which actually seems a bit superfluous. I think they should have to weigh in after Thanksgiving, personally. It is a strong man or woman who can resist dousing a plate of carbs in gravy.

We begin at last week's elimination, with Sami giving the contestants a pep talk. She tells them that one of their biggest successes is that they've survived three months at the campus. And so, they get a surprise! The surprise comes tomorrow, but a tease comes tonight. Each contestant gets a manila envelope that has a picture of his or her super-fat self from the beginning of the show. Bill says that he sees a person he didn't like very much, and a person who wasn't happy. He says that he was someone who needed a change. He also sees someone who has serious man-boobs. Nicole had told Sami she couldn't see a difference looking in the mirror, but that she does see a change when she looks at her picture. She thought she looked gross before, with the rolls and stretch marks and cellulite. She never wants to go back to that place. Isabeau thinks of how she never felt pretty, and can see how unhappy she was. She thinks her transformation has been amazing. Sami tells the contestants to rest up, which makes Julie, at the least, very nervous about what lies ahead.

Jillian visits her team, and Isabeau asks whether Jillian is going to murder her. Do it, Jillian! Jillian says that she's not going to murder anyone (boo), but that she thinks Isabeau made a huge mistake and is going to regret it. She points out that it's four to four now. Isabeau hopes that her team can look past the decision she made, and says she thinks they're unsure if they can trust her. Well, duh. Julie interviews that Isabeau not only jeopardized herself, but the whole team. In one move, she shot down their cohesive strategy to win. Jillian tells Isabeau that it's her game to play, though she thinks Amy kept the rest of them safer. She says that B will consistently beat Isabeau, and she's worried now.

Kim, meanwhile, is nervous to see if Bryan is gone. Bryan plays a little trick and leaves her the envelope with his picture on the bed. Right now I wish that Bryan had been replaced on the show by Ted Kaczynski, but that will have to be a dream deferred. Kim looks at the envelope, and Bryan comes running out of the closet and tackles her. Whoa, easy there, big boy! You're not Orlando Bloom yet. It is sweet how much Bryan likes Kim, even if she's a twit with a capital "a." Bryan thinks it's a blessing to have Kim all to himself, and Kim says that they're going to have to fight all the way till the end.
