When we return, dramatic orchestral music lets us know that it's time for a temptation challenge! A table is set up with food on it, and Sami reminds everyone that they're all hungry fatties who eat pizza all the time. Sami welcomes special guest Dave Zinczenko, contributor to the Today Show, editor-in-chief of Men's Health magazine, and author of a book entitled Eat This, Not That. "That" is a Big Mac. Turns out Dave had a morbidly obese father who passed away at 52, and so he decided that he wanted to give others the information that they need to dramatically change the way they look, feel and live. For the challenge there will be sets of two plates of food -- one labeled "this" and the other labeled "that." The contestants will have to guess which one is healthier. The first team to get five correct answers wins, and will get a 40-pound advantage at the week's challenge. Sami says that the contestants won't know what this means right now, but it has to do with game play and is good.
Heba is up first against Michelle. They have to compare a hot dog with ketchup, mustard and relish against nachos with cheese. Both guess that the hot dog is better, which is correct! That nacho cheese sauce is nefarious, if secretly really, really delicious. [Oh, it's no secret! - Zach] Vicky and Renee are next, and have to vote on one small spaghetti with marinara and spicy Italian sausage with a side Caesar salad against a small penne with marinara and garlic shrimp with a garden side salad with fat-free dressing. Both go for the penne which, duh, is right. Apparently, Italian sausage is not what you want to eat when you're on a diet. Thank God I'm not on a diet. Next Amy and Coleen have to vote on chicken and shrimp fajitas with the works or 24 chicken nuggets with barbeque sauce. Coleen goes for the fajitas while Amy guesses the nuggets. And Amy is right! Who knew? Well, Amy did. She knew that sour cream and guacamole, while delicious, are extremely fatty. The Blue Team is thus ahead.
