Oh, but THEN! Paul says he's not really looking forward to letters from home. He's completely focused on being there and winning the competition. Kelly says that, if the show allows, they'd like to forego their letters and give the prize to the other teams. Whoa! The other teams must feel like COLOSSAL bitches right now. Sami asks if she's sure, and Kelly says that, though she was excited to get letters, they don't want the distraction. This sounds like a singularly Paul move to me, but if she's willing to go with it, okay. Sami tells the other teams that something unprecedented has happened -- yes, a genuine act of kindness! -- and so they'll get the letters. The bitches are pretty grateful.
Oh! And THEN! Brittany tells us that she and Bernie really like Kelly and Paul. They're good people and need to be there, while there are other personalities in the house -- such as the Black Team -- who will only cause heartache and conflict if they stay. Kelly starts walking with the Orange Team, and notes that she thinks they are interested in forming an alliance. She thinks she can trust them. They bond over their hatred of Mark. Kelly interviews that people want the Black Team gone because they're a threat, and this is their chance to take them out. Bernie and Brittany draw Maggie into their alliance to rid the competition of Team Black. Maggie interviews that Orange, Yellow, Blue, and Purple are all working together to throw the weigh-in, because they want the Black Team gone. Oh, shenanigans. They are only bound to bring trouble. It doesn't sound like Jenn knows anything about it, as Brittany tells the other folks in her alliance that Pink, Gray, and Jenn can't be told anything. Jenn is going to be so mad at Maggie. They are of course planning on water-loading. It sounds like it's mostly Mark that they want gone, and Jay is more or less a casualty.
Bob talks with his giant team about the challenge, and can't believe that the Yellow Team won by a landslide. When he hears that Kelly and Bob forfeited their prize to the others, Bob smells heavy gameplay. I bet that has the aroma of a Quarter Pounder. Your mouth starts to water, but you know you're going to have a massive stomachache later on. Bob interviews that if Yellow really wanted to play this game right now, they could be setting themselves up for a really powerful alliance. Bingo! Bob is very interested to see how the weigh-in will turn out. He's expecting big numbers from everyone, and tells them that he hates gameplay. However, he understands that they have to do what they have to do. He tells them to remember to keep him in the loop of what's going on, because the last thing they want to do is make him look like an idiot. Or, rather, that's the last thing that HE wants. If they step up on the scale act all, "Derrr, I only lost two pounds!" he will rip off their heads. That should rectify the poundage situation, eh? Brittany momentarily has a guilty conscience, but it's not enough to trump her wish that the Black Team goes.
