Hello, I Must Be Going

Meanwhile, don't skip breakfast! Have some multi-grain Cheerios! They're AFFORDABLE! You can buy them with the paper your diminishing 401K updates are printed upon.

Everyone is working out in the gym. Except, that is, for Ron. He's walking outside, and breaks out in a cold sweat while experiencing some chest pains. He goes to see the staff medic, Sandy, who in turn sends Ron to see Dr. Huizenga at the hospital. Once there, Dr. H. tells us that they've ruled out a heart attack, but did determine that Ron had sudden blood loss and they don't know from where. Okay, that is pretty freaky. Ron's past history of bleeds, says Dr. H., is a direct result of his gastric bypass surgery. Dr. H. sends him for a test involving a tube down his esophagus that will hopefully find the source of the bleeding. Maybe this is a last-episode-of-ER crossover? Ron has his double balloon enteroscopy, and we learn that he has a benign condition and will be fine. We see inside video of Ron's bleeding ulcer, which is perhaps worse than seeing his 6-pack of moobs. Dr. H. thinks he's House for figuring it all out. And just so you know, gastric bypass surgery is weird and not always a great idea. Buy some Jennie-O turkey instead. Ron can go back to the ranch and Dr. H. says that they'll politic among his competitors to see if they'll cut him some slack. Yeah, good luck with that.

It's challenge time! And instead of Sami or Ali, we get last season's winner, Michelle! She looks fly, as always. She tells the contestants that the key to her success was finding balance between diets, workouts, families and friends. Without balance, she says, you're going down. And she means it literally, because today's challenge has something to do with ropes suspended above a pool. Each contestant will be on a platform six feet above the pool, with one rope to hang on to with one hand. One line at a time the 40 horizontal ropes holding the platform will be released, making it harder and harder for the contestants to keep their balance. The last person standing wins a one-pound advantage at the weigh-in. Since Nicole has immunity, if she wins, she gets to give a one-pound penalty to the player of her choice. Everyone goes, "Ooooh," because that is pretty stank.
