In the elimination room, Courtney votes for Patrick. Patrick votes for Courtney. Jessica votes for Patrick. Vinny votes for Courtney. With that, it's tied up and the final decision rests with Ramon. He says that making the decision is like ripping his heart out and putting it on a platter. Could you imagine getting Ramon's heart served to you at a hotel conference lunch? With, like, Béarnaise sauce? Anyway, Ramon votes for Patrick, and Patrick is thus eliminated. Patrick tells us that he didn't realize, coming on campus, how weak he was. In week one, he found out that he didn't have what it took to become an athlete, mentally. He didn't believe in himself, and didn't think he could do things. Now, he has a lot more confidence in himself and his ability. Patrick knows that he has quite a journey ahead of him, but realizes his full potential to keep growing. The next time we see Patrick, he says, he'll be the husband that his wife deserves, and will be pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a police officer.

And then we catch up with Patrick today! He started at 387 pounds, and now weighs 296. That's a total loss of 91 pounds! Good for him. Patrick and his wife have grown a lot closer, cook together, and have been talking about life goals and dreams. His wife, Katie, tells him that he's been disciplined and dedicated since coming back, and that she's proud of him. They're working as a team. Patrick tells us that he has wanted to be a police officer since he was a kid, and six months ago he took the agility test for the police department. He failed spectacularly. But today he's taking it again and is stoked. We see Patrick go through the course in five minutes and eleven seconds, which is under the five minutes thirty seconds that he was allotted. Patrick is going to win the marathon (with a goal of running an 11.5 minute mile) and then turn his attention to police department. Will he be able to resist donut temptations then?
