Sunny Came Home

Before we know it, we're in Frisco, Texas! Sunny opens the door of her house and sees a whole bunch of family and friends waiting for her. Her husband, Blake, is thrilled to see her and thinks she looks great. Sunny explains the situation she's in with her weight loss being the only thing that will count for the weigh-in, then introduces Bob. Everyone is extra thrilled, and Sunny likens their reaction to seeing the ghost of Elvis. I think they're more excited to see Bob than Sunny, actually. Bob says that Sunny has a great support system of people who are dying for her to be healthy. She's lucky, because she has cheerleaders living in her own house. Bob didn't want any of his team members to win this challenge, but predicts that it's going to change Sunny's life forever. He sits down with Sunny and her family and asks what her biggest struggles were before coming on the show. She says that she always took the easy route. Her family would ride bikes or play tennis, and she would stay home. She also didn't go for what she really wanted in life. Bob points out that Sunny gained a lot of weight, but her husband and son are totally skinnies. When Sunny first married her husband, she wasn't overweight, but she eventually isolated herself because she was afraid to look like a fool. Bob points out that Sunny has been on the sidelines for 15 years. He sees greatness in her, and wants her to step up. He'll help her do that, of course, by screaming lots. Sunny's husband loves Bob, and even chokes up when talking about him. Bob has that effect on people, doesn't he?

After a break, we return to the ranch where Antone and Joe walk and joke about Bob in Texas (Two-step! Cowboy hat!), and wonder what Sunny's up to. Joe says that he doesn't know what John and Jennifer have been doing, since they keep to themselves. He adds that the Black Team is split three-two, and that wherever Jen goes she causes conflict. Intriguing! Apparently she's a shit-stirrer. And here I thought she was just a nice lady with a bum leg who swam all the time! Meanwhile, in Frisco, there is no two-step occurring. Rather, Bob is giving Sunny a personalized beating. They go so hard that Sunny flies off the treadmill. It's about time that happened to somebody! Sunny assures us that this Texas workout is the hardest she's had so far. Bob reminds her about how she was running around in celebration of her challenge victory, and he told her then that he was basically going to murder her.
