At elimination, things go mostly as expected. Kim votes for Kimmy. Megan votes for Emily. Chris votes for Emily, as does Jeremy. Conda votes to oust Kimmy, which adds a little excitement to the proceedings. Mark is next with his two votes. He sympathizes with the plight of anyone who stands to lose a parent or a child, and so votes for Emily. With five votes, Emily is out. She's not surprised, and says that her life is going to revolve around exercise from now on. She's going to win the at-home, and likes that she's going out as a threat. Emily hopes that the lifestyle changes she's made will matter in the end. She'll miss all the opportunities that come with being on the show, and will REALLY miss Bob. She's nervous to be without him, but doesn't want to wallow, and is also taking pains to believe in herself.

We catch up with Emily today, where she's gone from 264 to 174 pounds, for a total loss of 90 pounds. She's taken away from the ranch that she hasn't been doing what she wants to do. Oh and surprise, surprise -- like roughly a third of the contestants on this show, Emily has dreams of being a singer. She reached out to Olivia, opera singer and winner of last season. Olivia invited Emily to come on over, and sets up a lesson with her vocal coach. As it turns out, Emily can actually sing opera! The Biggest Loser: Creating skinny opera singers since 2011! Emily plans to win the at-home prize and use the money to move to New York.

Next week: who knows! There are no clips. I hope we get to see the mass mutiny on the ranch soon, though.
