Meanwhile, Bob wants us all to eat sandwiches for lunch! Sadly, I don't think today's mayo-laden tuna melt really contributes to putting me on the path to health.

In the gym, Jillian notices that Maggie is upset about something and pulls her aside. Maggie is feeling insecure, and thinking that, upon meeting her, others will think that they really don't want a fat friend. What is she even talking about? Jillian says that quality people don't care about that stuff. Maggie apparently has a pattern of having relationships where she's good to people, but they're horrible to her. Dr. Phillian asks what she's getting out of those relationships, and wonders if they mimic other more primary relationships in her life. Turns out that Maggie's parents divorced when she was young. Jillian reminds us that the contestants have real issues behind their weight, and so if they go home and are still in denial about what's been driving their weight gain, they're sure to put the weight back on. Jillian draws out that Maggie has been heavy since right after her dad left. She tells us that some things that the contestants have been through are beyond the scope of her knowledge or abilities to help them, and part of being a good trainer is knowing when to ask someone else to intervene. Oh my God...Oprah?!?!

Cut to the house, where Jillian sits with her team and notes that they might need some additional expertise. The person she's bringing to meet them today, she says, is probably the most significant person that they'll meet while they're on campus. It's a person that she listens to without question and would trust with her life. Best friend Vanessa "Brian Austin Green Impregnated Me" Marcil? No! It's Jillian's mom! Jillian yells out, "Hi, Mommy!" and gives her mom a big hug. Turns out that Jillian's mom is to psychotherapy what Jillian is to fitness training, with an unfortunate nose job thrown in as a bonus. I'm sure that Jillian's mom is totally a nice woman, but as soon as she walked in the house, all I thought was, "Margaret Chenowith." In any case, Jillian's mom is going to have some chats with the Black Team. Oddly, I don't think we ever find out what her actual name is.
