And then it's time for the last-chance workout! Already! Bob is beating his people, and Ed likes it. He's proud of his progress -- and of Vicky's progress -- from the first week. Bob interviews that his last-chance workout was relentless, and he had fun with it. He sounds like a serial killer when he says, "Heh heh. I like relentless." Jillian beats her team, too. Michelle tells us that she really focused and put all the detritus of her relationship with her mom aside. Jillian says she can only hope that the time her girls put in at the gym was enough.
Weigh-ins! Brady is welcoming the weigh-in, and thinks that Bob's team is going to prevail this week because Jillian's team hasn't been putting in as many hours a day as they have. Coleen is ready to lose lots of poundage for her dad. Jillian says that she's had her team go below the yellow line the past two weeks, and it would be a shame if one of her girls loses by a pound due to all the homework they didn't do. Sami greets the teams and congratulates them for lasting a month at the campus. She notes that she just realized that Jillian has five women, which must mean there are a lot of hormones involved. Yeah, because women are always on the rag and shit. Jillian tells Sami that it's a world of hurt. Sami tells the contestants that once again there will only be one family falling below the yellow line. That team will have to decide who goes home. If Coleen falls below the yellow line, she goes home automatically. This essentially means that all the other teams just have to beat her.
And speaking of Coleen, she's up first on the scale and looking nervous. Last week she lost seven pounds. This week she goes from 195 to 192, for a loss of 3. That's 1.54% of her body weight, and she's feeling frustrated. The Pink Team is next. They need to have lost more than 7 pounds to stay safe. Michelle goes from 220 to 216 for a loss of 4, while Renee goes from 242 to 237 for a loss of 5. They are safe, and pretty happy about it. That's 9 pounds altogether, or 1.95%. Respectable! The Purple Team needs to lose more than 6 pounds to stay safe. Shellay hopes that the 24 hours with Jillian will give them the extra boost in their weight loss. Amy goes from 213 to 208, for a loss of 5 pounds, while Shellay goes from 198 to 194 for a loss of 4. I guess all this not doing homework really didn't hurt anyone but Coleen. The Purple Team lost 9 pounds, or 2.19%.
