It's decision time. Heba tells Sami that they're not there to play a game. They're deciding to send Ed home, presumably because they want babies. Ed tells Heba that she's the beginning and the end, and he never truly loved before he met her. She's the most determined damned woman he's ever met, and will push forth even through the most crappy of situations. They love each other, which is nice, but now they'll have to love each other from afar. Sami tells Ed that he is not the Biggest Loser, and has to get the hell out. Heba weeps hysterically. Sami looks like she just smelled something foul.
Ed tells us in his exit interview that his biggest accomplishment so far is realizing and acknowledging that he has an addiction to food. It's always going to be with him. But he has realized that nothing can stop him. He thanks Bob, who was one of the catalysts who started his reawakening. Ed is very proud of Heba, and is confident that she'll carry on and continue to lose weight. Next time we see Ed, he says, he'll be about 180 pounds and look even better than he does now. We jump to Ed at home, who is looking damn good! He has some facial hair, and looks much skinnier. And I totally forgot he's a chef! He tells us that he now writes down all his nibbles on the job in his food journal. He looks so much younger, and I covet his dog. Ed has lost 85 pounds so far. Yay!
