Judith and Daniel prepare for bed and banter about how homosexuality is genetic, and wonder where Peter got his gay gene. Judith wins when she points out Daniel's uncle, who was a high-school drama teacher and drove a light blue convertible Bug with daisies on the dashboard. Daniel seeks Judith's reassurance that Peter is a good kid, and she says that he is. She asks Daniel to take some of the leftover funeral food to Victoria's house in the morning. They start macking, but Judith quickly pulls away to go to sleep until Daniel reminds her that it's Friday, which is apparently their sex night, so they do it.
The next morning, Judith serves coffee to another Bishop. Daniel walks in and calls him Dad. So Daniel's father is also his boss's boss? Nice. So he's Bishop Grandpa, to differentiate him from Bishop Burstyn. Anyway, Bishop Grandpa is concerned about Peter settling down with a nice girl, so he's clearly not in on the gay thing. Bishop Grandpa wants to talk to Daniel, and offers to ride over to Victoria's house with him to deliver the leftovers.
As they pull up to Victoria's house, Bishop Grandpa worries that everyone knows about Charlie's misdeeds, and offers to call Daniel's brother Worth to help out. Daniel looks annoyed at the suggestion, and grabs the leftovers to take in to Victoria. He gets suspicious when he spots a red convertible parked behind Victoria's house. As Daniel gets closer, he hears women laughing inside. He peers in the window and sees Victoria and Jessie, both in nightgowns, laughing and chatting away at the kitchen table. Daniel is stunned, and peeks in again, only to see Jessie lay her hand on Victoria's arm in a familiar way. Daniel stumbles away, stunned, and finds Jesus leaning on Jessie's car. Jesus remarks, "Boy. You never know, do you?"
