Title Card: "FUNAMBULISM." Orwell has a bunch of security camera feeds, which lead to Dice sitting still on a rooftop for two hours staring at the ARK building. She's got CGI floorplans in her vision. Vince thinks he's clever when he says, "She's planning something" and "That's Fleming's building." Vince wants to crash the investors' party in three days, but Orwell says there will be security. So he needs to parachute in or something.

Carnival scene! Finally. Max is annoyed to be interrupted while he's drinking. Vince tells Max that he's got two days to learn tightrope walking well enough to walk it on a highwire. Max talks about "funambulism" and Ruvi proposes something experimental. Excellent.

Ruvi is hypnotizing Vince and claims that when you sleepwalk, you never bump into anything. Consequently, Vince will see only a walk to the kitchen while he walks the wire. I don't think the problem was that Vince was scared. I was under the impression that he's just never walked on a wire before, so he needs to learn the basic skills. Raia tells him that tightrope walking is all about center of gravity. He gets up on the wire with her and she grabs his hips. There's a lot of talk about hips. He puts his hands on her hips and she walks him onto the wire. Rollo shakes the apparatus, claiming there will be lots of wind, and Vince falls. Rollo is not particularly helpful, which makes him entertaining.

Trip continues to read that one issue of the Cape. Dana offers to read it with him, and he puts it away instead. She puts out the lights in his room. He stares impassively. Everybody drink!

Rollo and Vince are on the skyscraper across the street from the ARK building. They have a speargun-grappling hook thing which doesn't look entirely safe. Rollo claims that it's been nice knowing Vince. Pew! Clang! "Yeah!" It works, and the wire is very tight. Vince prepares to walk it. See, Man on Wire? Vince is doing this with only two days of training! It's not so hard. Incidentally, you know what you want when you're way up in the air and it's all windy and you're trying to balance? A big CAPE.
